Our mission statement is simple. Good, Honest guidance and advice, to be accountable and hold our client's best interest at heart. We pride ourselves on a great track record, the continuous referrals and repeat business from our loyal clientele being our best testimonial!
House of Woods Limited is located in the West Island of Montreal where we have been living and selling Real Estate for over 45 years. In this day and age of Internet Business, we think it is even more important than ever to know something about the people you are dealing with.
Our history...briefly!
Peter and Ruth Woods embraced the real estate profession in the 1960's after successful careers in banking and health care. Their son Grey obtained his broker's licence in 1970 and persuaded the parents to leave the Big Company 'way of life' and open their own independent banner.
House of Woods was born in 1971 and we still consider ourselves a family business, because we adhere to good hardworking family values of honesty, integrity and respect. Furthermore we live and have lived in this West Island community from the outset, earning the intimate knowledge of the neighbourhoods. We have grown up here and our kids have grown up here.
We are nonetheless professional realtors and members in good standing of the Montreal Real Estate Board and the OACIQ (Organisme d'Autoréglementation du Courtage Immobilier du Quebec) and enjoy an excellent reputation within the real estate community and the general public.
House of Woods is now owned and managed by Keith Bertoia and Theresa (Terry) Tkalec, who themselves represent 50 combined years of successful real estate experience. (Keith since 1986, Terry since 1998)
